Deaf Havana played the fantastic venue that is Alexandra Palace on Friday as part of their UK tour and to promote their new album, Rituals – all in aid of the charity, WarChild. Two of the three bands that are touring with Deaf Havana also played (Howard Kaye followed by Anavae).
They played their new album Rituals from start to finish in the first set, which was followed by a short talk by WarChild on the work the charity is doing. War Child are an amazing charity who protect, educate and stand up for the rights of children caught up in war.
They finished off an epic show with an awesome last set of older material. They also had their very own beer – ‘Rituals’, a locally brewed session IPA on sale!
Deaf Havana were brilliant, and I was over the moon to be able to shoot them as my first live music photography gig. I absolutely loved the gig and already can’t wait to photograph another!
