From The Jam – 40 Years and counting.

From The Jam, play to Nottinghams  Rock City last night, celebrating 40 years (1977 – 2017). With support from Nine Below Zero.

With around 1800 guests attending the All Mod Cons Tour, From The Jam really did put on an incredible show in Nottingham. With former The Jam bassist Bruce Foxton and legendary vocalist & guitarist Russell Hastings taking to the stage, the audience were in for a treat.

Nine Below Zero started off the evening, with a brilliant set of music, setting the scene nicely, harmonica and all.

The night then was taken over by The Jam themselves to an audience ready to relive old classics from the bands 40 year history.

The evening even saw a iconic jump from Foxton within the first 3 songs alone.

The band played opened the gig with All Mod Cons followed by To Be Someone (Didnt We Have A Nice Time) and then into a Mr. Clean with following numbers including The Butterfly Collector, Town Called Malice and Strange Town. With encore including The Eton Rifles and Going Underground.

What a nice of music, and From The Jam, still have shows this year. You can see them at:
